General Ledger transaction time can be slow, and, as a result, costly. This is because journals are often awaiting approval for some time. The eventual result is that financial information may be misstated due to untimely posting of entries. Users should make use of notify feature to notify GL JE approvers within their office in order to solicit their approval. Further, queries have now been provided to review pending GL JEs and these are being incorporated into the closing instructions and will be monitored by OFA RSTs.
